New housing can protect cameras in temperatures as low as -55 degrees Celsius

Videotec spa, specialised manufacturer of outdoor video surveillance solutions, proposes a camera housing suitable for installations in extremely cold environments with temperatures that can reach -55°C.

The well known VERSO housing range, made from tough techno-polymer, is in fact extended by the introduction of a new POLAR model, equipped with a high-performance heating system and nickel-plated brass cable glands suitable for the most rigid low temperatures. VERSO POLAR guarantees an ideal inner environment for the installed camera’s correct and continuous operation in outer temperatures down to -55°C. The side opening facilitates accessibility to camera, lenses and all its connections.

Furthermore, VERSO POLAR offers various assembly versions, either wall-mounted or with supports and inner cable threading. At the same time the housing’s sturdiness ensures antivandalic protection.
