Mini Keyport, WebStation and CyberKey added to access control product series

CORVALLIS, OREGON, February 6, 2009 — New Products Give More Options for Access and Key Control Videx, Inc. announces several new additions to the CyberLock family of access control products. These new products include: two new communication devices, the Mini Keyport and WebStation, used to pass information between the software and the keys; and a new CyberKey with rechargeable batteries. CyberLock is an electronic lock system that allows electronic keys to be programmed with an access schedule for opening locks and maintains an audit report of each opening.

The Mini Keyport and WebStation are both communication devices. The Mini Keyport offers another option for users that want to update their keys from a remote location. It is durable and weather-resistant for outside installations. WebStation is a docking station for the CyberKey that can be used to connect directly to a desktop computer or to the network. The rechargeable CyberKey is an environmentally friendly key with an overall battery life of three to five years. A quick charge of two hours will completely recharge an empty battery with enough power for 500 openings. Users now can choose between a key with rechargeable batteries and one with replaceable batteries.

Videx, an engineering and manufacturing firm, has advanced the CyberLock product line with over 235 different lock cylinder designs that replace the mechanical cylinder in standard lock hardware.

We invite you to stop by the Videx booth# 14137 at ISC West to see these new products. We hope to see you at the show.
