AMT releases WebBrix to aid in creating managed access systems

AMT WebBrix 3.0 to support SARGENT wireless lockset

SAINT PAUL, Minn., July 29 -- Automated Management Technologies, Inc. (AMT) announces the upcoming release of WebBrix 3.0. The upgrade offers several features that address the special requirements found in hosted environments such as central station monitoring companies. In the field, WebBrix 3.0 will help by supporting "install friendly" products such as the SARGENT Profile Series v.S2 wireless lockset.

The appeal of the v.S2 lock is in the ease of installation resulting in a reduction of labor and costs. The v.S2 allows a complete proximity card reading system to be installed without any wiring or re-work of door frames allowing installation in a fraction of the time it would take for a typical hard wired control. The open-standard 802.11 b/g WiFi infrastructure in the v.S2 product allows it to communicate through an existing Wi-Fi network.

WebBrix is an ASP.NET reference application used to aid in the creation of branded access control solutions. Full release of WebBrix 3.0 is expected Q4 2009. Development teams will be able to begin working with alpha versions of WebBrix 3.0 in September, 2009. WebBrix 3.0 will be demonstrated in the HID booth at the ASIS show in Anaheim.
