Ronald Galippo elected to IQ board of directors

Total Watch Security owner to serve two-year term

The Installation Quality (IQ) Certification Program has announced that Ronald Galippo, of Total Watch Security, Inc., has been elected to a two-year term to the Board of Directors.

In addition to being the owner of Total Watch Security of Palm Desert, Calif., which he founded in 1994, Galippo has been an authorized dealer for Brinks Home Security since 2002 and a member of the Brinks Home Security “Top Twenty Club” in 2003, 2004 and 2007.

Total Watch Security has been IQ Certified since 2002.

The newest member of the Board and an industry veteran, Galippo is presently Secretary of the California Alarm Association, Past President of the Inland Empire Alarm Association and a member of the National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association.

"As someone who is IQ Certified and actively involved in the security industry, I share the IQ program’s deep commitment raise the industry’s professionalism and improve alarm installation quality standards."

The IQ Board consists of representatives from member companies who are selected by the membership as well as appointing at least two, but no more than four, public safety directors. Board members prioritize initiatives for the year and determine the projects, activities and events to be undertaken.
