Peterson named company’s VP of dealer support and data entry

For the second time in less than a year, Heather Peterson has been promoted, now joining the management team in her new role as vice president of dealer support and data entry at COPS Monitoring.

Her new responsibilities include supervising the daily operations of the Data Entry and Dealer Support staff, creating efficiencies in each area, overseeing special projects, maintaining database integrity, overseeing budget/staffing in both areas and keeping the departments within quality levels. She reports directly to COPS president Jim McMullen.

Peterson has been with COPS for almost ten years, starting in the data entry department. Most recently, she served as assistant to COPS President Jim McMullen before she was promoted last year to dealer support manager.

"I have enjoyed great opportunities since I started with COPS," said Peterson. "COPS Monitoring is a dynamic environment that is both challenging and rewarding. I look forward to continuing to learn from the group that I work with."

Peterson plans to continue to improve and enhance customer and company relationships to make COPS more effective, growing the staff's involvement in creating a more productive work environment while maintaining quality of service, keeping the personal touch, care and concern that employees at COPS are known for.

"Heather’s promotion to vice president of the dealer support and data entry departments is a reflection on our growth as a company and the outstanding job she has been doing," said McMullen. "As we continue to grow, her management skills and new ideas will ensure that our customers receive the outstanding service and support they’ve come to expect from COPS."
