A new firmware release for IRES Technology's Wireless Night Vision IP Camera allows you to access the camera from 3G network BlackBerry mobile phones. With 3GPP support, the camera provides live viewing on compatible mobile platforms including the iPhone and BlackBerry 9000 Series phones, in addition to remote PC's / Mac's.
An ideal and affordable solution for remote monitoring of your property, the IRES IP Camera easily connects to a wireless router using 802.11b/g standard protocol, protected with WEP & WPA encryption. Alternatively, the camera can be hard-wired to your LAN. To view the streaming live video feed complete with audio, simply type in the camera's IP address into any browser from anywhere in the world. DDNS is also supported.
Using an advanced Dual Codec MPEG4/MJPEG compression, high speed video streaming is achievable at transmission of up to 30 fps, displayed at a resolution of 640x480. From the remote client you can quickly record live footage to your hard-drive and grab snapshots. The camera is equipped with security features of motion detection, alarm recording and alarm email notifications with still image attachments.
IRES model IRP205 features the added benefit of 30 LED's for Night Vision of up to 50 feet – the picture automatically turns to B/W in low light conditions. With an intuitive GUI and quick installation, the Wireless IP Camera is user-friendly for everyday residential or small business end-users.
