ADI, Digimerge introduce new H.264 DVR

New notebook size VB300 Blade DVR built to manage complex CCTV installations

Melville, N.Y., January 12, 2009 – ADI announced today an agreement with Digimerge Technologies to offer the revolutionary H.264 Blade Digital Video Recorder (DVR) at branches across North America. Dealers will now have access to this sleek 3.6 pound notebook size DVR, the smallest form factor embedded DVR (8.5x11x1.25) on the market today.

The Blade VB300 offers a high performance series of 4/8/16 channel Pentaplex network DVRs. This innovative solution features H.264 compression to offer small video stream files at a high quality, using less storage space. Equipped with a standard 2.5 inch 250 GBHD, it supports up to 1 TB of internal and 45 TB of external storage. The Blade delivers 240 fps recording, DVI direct digital output, D1 recording, independent programmable channels, and two-way audio. This DVR includes a flexible IR controller and VESA mount adapter for back of LCD or wall mounting. The VB300 also supports browser and client applications, along with a 128 channel CMS solution with unlimited DVR connections.
