FJC Security Services promotes Mark D. Coffino

NEW YORK, DECEMBER 13, 2010 – FJC Security Services, Inc., a leading provider of armed and unarmed security personnel, as well as the latest systems integration solutions and consulting services to both the public and private sector, today announced the promotion of Mark D. Coffino to executive vice president. Coffino, 54, most recently served as senior vice president at the firm. Coffino will report to Frank J. Califano, Jr., FJC’s chief operating officer.

"We are delighted to recognize the talents and contributions that Mark brings to FJC," states Califano. "In the nearly seven years he has been with the firm, he has proactively stepped in to creatively bring new solutions to the table that have helped our company to become the most widely relied upon privately owned security services company in the New York metropolitan area. With Mark now as an executive vice president, we look forward to continued growth and success, particularly as we further extend our services throughout the country."

Coffino will oversee consolidated operations for all service divisions. His career achievements at FJC are substantial, having redesigned the Business Development Group’s duties, structures and processes for maximum customer service shortly after his promotion to vice president. As a senior vice president, he restructured all operational and support systems to work more seamlessly to deliver value and efficiency to FJC’s clients. Most recently, Coffino spearheaded the firm’s investment in a leading Customer Relationship Manager system and implemented the security industry’s first closed-loop, online quality assurance program.

Coffino is a member of several trade organizations, including the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY).

Coffino follows in the footsteps of Patrick J. Conroy, who previously held the position and who will take on a newly-created role of senior advisor to the president. Conroy’s responsibilities will include advising on the formulation and implementation of organization-wide policies, positions and standards. "The extraordinary talents and leadership of our senior executives help us remain at the forefront of security solutions program innovation, execution and value," notes Califano.
