Mace makes donation to Constantine Papadakis fund

Horsham, Pennsylvania – June 3, 2009 - Mace Security International, Inc. ("Mace" or the “Company”) today announced that it has made a donation to the Constantine Papadakis Fund at Drexel University. Dr. Papadakis, who was a member of Mace’s Board of Directors since 1999, recently passed away from pulmonary complications.

Dennis Raefield, CEO and President of Mace Security International, Inc., said, “ As we are still saddened by the loss of such a good friend of Mace, we hope a small donation to the Papadakis fund at Drexel from his friends will help continue the legacy of his good work. A man is only remembered for what he has given to others, and Drexel was a fine beneficiary of his energy and hard work. We are happy to honor his memory in a small way.”

Dr. Papadakis contributed a decade of service to the Board of Directors of Mace and we wish to acknowledge his efforts and dedication to the company,” said Board Chairman Jack Mellon. “Our contribution to the Fund is an expression of our appreciation for his loyal service.”
