Secura Key launches new product training program

CHATSWORTH, CALIFORNIA - Secura Key, of Chatsworth, California is pleased to announce the launch of its new Product Training Program.

While Secura Key has offered factory training for many years, customers have found it increasingly difficult to send their installation and sales staff to California, considering the cost of lodging, airfare, and missed work time.

By using modern web-based training tools, such as Citrix Go-To-Webinar, Secura Key now offers its customers live interactive training at their own facilities, or any place with an Internet connection. The first two public training courses being offered are the "Secura Key Product Overview," and "SK-NET Training," which will be offered beginning in July 2010 (check the Secura Key website for details). Other courses will be added in the future. Secura Key is also able to offer one-on-one training sessions for individuals or small groups by special request.

Participants can use the microphone and speakers connected to their PC’s or they can use an optional telephone call-in number.

In addition, using production tools such as Camtasia Studios, Secura Key has produced flash-based training movies, which will be available on the Secura Key website starting in July 2010. These movies feature voice narration, software screen captures, and video clips.

Secura Key’s Technical Training Manager, Jeff Hamilton, will conduct the live Webinars and produce the training movies. Jeff, an 18-year Secura Key veteran, is intimately familiar with the product line, and he is now primarily focused on product training, while continuing to do technical support part time.

Those who are interested in participating in one of our scheduled public Webinars should visit the Secura Key website to register for the training.

Secura Key products are available through major distributors of security, access control, locking hardware and gate control equipment.
