Software House recently released C-Cure 9000 v1.93
Westford, MA - June 22, 2010 - Software House, a part of Tyco Security Products, announced today that it has added critical security functionality to the latest version of its C-CURE 9000 security and event management system. These new features give customers additional tools for control and management of people within their operation. The new version also provides key enhancements to C-CURE 9000 Web Client for remote management of a C-CURE 9000 system.
C-CURE 9000 v1.93 offers more control over who goes where and when thereby creating a more secure environment for employees and visitors, and enhanced safeguarding of confidential information. Customers can quickly and easily keep track of who enters and exits a particular area. New security features include:
- Occupancy Restrictions - limits the number of people in a given area to protect highly classified information and adhere to occupancy guidelines
- N Man Rule - requires more than one person to present a card in order for access to be granted to a particular area
- Clearance Filters - dynamically adjust clearance levels based on changes in threat level or other emergency situations such as bomb threats or hazardous chemical spills
"We've reached an exciting milestone in the development of the C-CURE 9000 security and event management system", said Warren Brown, director of product management for Software House technologies. "Software House has worked diligently to strengthen its platform giving new customers what they have been anticipating, and C-CURE 800/8000 customers even more reasons to begin their migration plans to a C-CURE 9000 system."
The C-CURE 9000 security and event management system has long been recognized as a leader in security and access control for government and large commercial applications. The release last year of the C-CURE 9000 SiteServer security appliance and the iSTAR Edge two- or four-door IP controller combined with important enhancements to the C-CURE 9000 Web Client in version 1.93, make the C-CURE 9000 solution an affordable and compelling solution for small sites, such as small office buildings, high-rises, and retail stores. With version 1.93, the C-CURE 9000 Web Client gives any user with access to a web browser the ability run reports on recent activity, change access rights for personnel, and access customized views of personnel and activity.
"For large customers and small sites, C-CURE 9000 version 1.93 makes it easier for both integrators and end users to manage the day-to-day security of their buildings," said Mr. Brown.
