CSAA recognizes the best staff members, central stations

Pittsburg, Penn., June 16, 2010 -- On Wednesday morning, the Central Station Alarm Association came together to recognize the best of the best at its annual Central Station Excellence Awards. The awards were presented over breakfast by SDM's Laura Stepanek following a presentation from Majd Alwan, Ph.D., about the future of tele-health monitoring and remote health services. The awards publicly lauded top operators, stations, managers and support staff. The 2010 awards were the first to recognize a "Central Station Support Staff of the Year".

Without further ado, here's a quick look at who was recognized in this year's CSAA Central Station Excellence Awards:

Central Station of the Year
Doyle Security Systems Inc., Rochester, N.Y.

Central Station Manager of the Year
Greg Hurst from Monitronics International in Dallas, Texas

(Honorable mentions: Amy Jo Feliciano from Engineered Protection Systems Inc., Grand Rapids, Mich., and Suzie Nye from AvantGuard Monitoring Centers in Ogden, Utah)

Central Station Operator of the Year:
Lindsay Marcell from ADT Security Services in Aurora, Colo.

Central Station Support Staff of the Year:
Phil Arnold from Alarmco Inc. in Las Vegas, Nev.
