Agilence announces integration with Axis network video products

Camden, N.J. (May 4, 2009) — Agilence, Inc., a leader in intelligent video analysis solutions, today announced their integration with Axis Communications’ network video products. Together, Agilence and Axis provide a state-of-the-art loss prevention solution that will significantly improve the profitability of retailers.

Agilence identifies shrink caused by cashier fraud, operational inefficiencies, and policy violations. Their patented item-level synchronization software pulls data directly from the point-of-sale systems and marries the data with video, perfectly linking an individual item with its associated video image. The instantly visible video for the suspect line-item saves loss prevention analysts significant time.
As an Application Development Partner (ADP), Agilence’s application is fully integrated with Axis Communications’ entire network video portfolio. Axis’ network video products provide sharp, high resolution images to reveal shrink-related activities and have been installed in retail environments around the world.
