Bosch's new G Series control panels
FAIRPORT, N.Y. – Bosch Security Systems, Inc. announced today its G Series Control Panels – integrated solutions for intrusion, access control and fire alarm applications – now offer greater flexibility in system design and faster programming and servicing capabilities.
A Renesas 32 bit 50 MHz processor – the fastest, most powerful, microprocessor within this segment – drives the new D9412GV3, D7412GV3 and D7212GV3 Control Panels. The processor provides fast keypad responses when operating the panel and integrating to access control or home automation systems.
For easy upgrades, flash firmware updates are possible with a key plugged into the panel. This capability eliminates the need for technicians to replace memory chips – helping them be more efficient at customer sites.
The panels also offer features to give integrators more options for system design. Contact ID reporting has been added and enables monitoring by central stations that use receivers from other manufacturers. In addition, support for dual, simultaneous, wired IP and GSM/GPRS communications helps integrators meet a wide variety of customer requirements.
The new GV3 control panels add these powerful features to the robust G Series platform that is already trusted by thousands of schools, retail centers, financial institutions and other commercial properties. A flexible family of control panels, the G Series meets the specific intrusion, access control and fire system needs of virtually any facility configuration. With the system, integrators benefit from remote programming capabilities for minimizing service costs and wireless component options for reduced installation times when wiring is difficult.
