Miami, FL (November 9, 2010) – Mission 500, a non-profit initiative focusing on the security industry and dedicated to serving the needs of children and communities in crisis, is seeking candidates for the 2011 "Mission 500 Humanitarian Award." The Award will be presented at a special cocktail reception on April 6th, 2011 during ISC West in Las Vegas.
The purpose of the Mission 500 Humanitarian Award is to honor individuals in the security industry who make important contributions to those in need. The 2010 recipient, Mr. Alan Forman exemplified this through his involvement with numerous charitable organizations, as well as serving on the advisory boards of both Gift of Life International and Mission 500, and as the New York Metro Chapter President for the American Technion Society.
Any individual can be nominated and a judging panel will evaluate all nominees based on their respective contributions toward humanitarian causes.
