New solution eases deployment of plusID identity verification tokens

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA, December 2 / MARKET WIRE/ -- Privaris, a leading provider of multi-function wireless biometric solutions, announces the availability of pre-loaded HID Global credentials on its plusID product line. Customers can now purchase plusID identity verification tokens with HID 26 bit and 37 bit Prox credentials, ready for use with their existing physical access control systems (PACS). With pre-coded plusID's, the only step required for deployment is enrollment of the user's fingerprint on their trusted device.

This new offering makes it easier for small and mid-sized businesses to quickly deploy plusID identity verification tokens for physical access. "We have always offered customers the ability to load the entire range of HID access card credentials -- both Prox and iCLASS -- onto their plusID tokens as a convenient means of adding the heightened security of biometrics to their existing door readers. Though new, pre-loaded credentials eliminate the need for customers to purchase these credentials, or card formats, separately," said John Petze, President and CEO of Privaris.

Pre-loaded HID Prox credentials in 26 bit (H 10301) and 37 bit (H 10304) formats are available on the entire range of plusID personal biometric tokens, from the plusID 60 to the plusID 75, which includes Bluetooth for wireless logon to PCs, and the plusID 90, which includes long-range wireless capability for use with vehicle gates and garage doors. plusID products work seamlessly with all access control systems that support HID cards and readers.
