SightLogix names Dan Hearn VP of sales

Company appoints industry veteran to lead expanding sales organization

Princeton, NJ – December 2, 2008 – SightLogix, manufacturer of high quality outdoor automated surveillance and detection sensors, has named Dan Hearn Vice President of Sales. With more than 20 years of experience in security sales management, Mr. Hearn is ideally suited to broaden SightLogix’ domestic and international market leadership.

Mr. Hearn has held senior management positions at a number of high profile security companies. As Co-Founder & VP Sales for SyPixx Networks, currently a part of Cisco Systems, Mr. Hearn organized the sales team and helped define the IP video manufacturer’s product road map. Prior to this, Mr. Hearn was a sales manager for International Fiber Systems, Inc. (IFS), an optical communication products manufacturer, now a part of General Electric. Before that, Mr. Hearn was Founder & President of Midlantic Marketing Inc., a premier manufacturer’s rep firm for leading security electronics manufacturers.

Mr. Hearn joins a rapidly growing organization that serves marquee customers in many verticals around the world. The company’s automated, outdoor surveillance solutions have been deployed to protect critical infrastructure worldwide including Commercial Aviation, Petro-Chemical, DoD, FEDGOV, Electrical Utilities, Water/Waste Water, Data Centers, Ports, Borders, Universities, and Rail Transportation.
