HOUSTON , Oct. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has been selected as Johnson Space Center's (JSC) Large Business Prime Contractor of the Year for 2008. The selection means that Lockheed Martin will be JSC's candidate for the agency-level award which will be presented at NASA's First Annual Small Business Symposium and Awards Ceremony in Washington, D.C. in November.
Lockheed Martin was nominated for the outstanding support it provides to
small business subcontracting initiatives in support of JSC contracts. The
