Princeton, NJ –October 15, 2008 – SightLogix, maker of high quality outdoor automated surveillance and detection systems, announced today it has formed a strategic partnership with Proximex. The partnership with Proximex, a leader in physical security information management (PSIM), will provide joint customers with a more reliable, easier to use, and cost effective solution to managing outdoor security.
With the new partnership, SightLogix’ cameras, which reliably detect at long and wide ranges under virtually any weather conditions, will seamlessly integrate with the Proximex Surveillint platform. Surveillint is a premier physical security solution for policy-based incident discovery, connection and resolution. It combines new and existing security systems and provides one complete view of all security activity.
Both SightLogix and Proximex support Geographic Information Systems (GIS) data. Unique to SightLogix SightSensor cameras is powerful integrated analytic processing which tracks all targets with real-time geo-position information. Surveillint supports the display of this information from the SightSensors, so security personnel can better visualize their security zones and any activity within them.
