FA-HDX16 provides H.264 compression with real-time recording at D1 resolution


Coppell, TX – December 15, 2011 – Advanced Technology Video a leading provider of innovative video security surveillance solutions announces the release of the new FA-HDX16 Professional H.264 DVR with 480-ips and FHD display capability – now part of its ULTIMATE SERIES product family.

The FA-HDX16 provides H.264 compression with real-time 16-channel, 480-ips recording at D1 resolution. The DVR offers Full-HD display resolution (1920 x 1080) with a new high resolution Graphical User Interface and a HDMI connector interface which is compatible with the new FHD video monitor – MLE215W – this is the only ATV DVR with the high resolution HDMI interface.

The FA-HDX16 offers concurrent Main, Secondary and Spot monitor outputs in either the HDMI, VGA or BNC video outputs. The secondary video output offers a FULL Multiplexed (multi- camera view) video output. The unit offers 5-HDDs with an included DVD-RW with e-SATA and I-SCSI external storage capabilities and internal HDD mirroring.

Common features expected in the ATV DVRs include multiple recording modes (TL, event, pre- event, text-in and panic), the ATV Vision Remote Administration Software (RAS-Plus with Monitoring, Playback, Recording, Setup, PTZ, Upgrade, MAP, and Health Monitor), programmable Video Motion Detection (VMD), Video Obscuration Detection (VOD) and Video Blind Detection (VBD) and looping video outputs.
