Company to introduce new range of static bollards

BPT Security Systems (UK), a specialist in door entry, access control and gate automation, will be displaying a selection of its quality parking control products at IFSEC, including a new range of static bollards.

A welcome addition to the Coral and Vigilo bollard range, Coral Steady and Vigilo Steady are robust static bollards featuring a smooth, rounded top. They are available in two sizes - 500mm and 800mm – with an option of any RAL colour to compliment a corporate image where required. Existing Coral and Vigilo rising bollards will also be on display.

BPT will be showing its latest addition to the Strabuc range at IFSEC, the Strabuc 930 Opinat. The Strabuc Opinat features a 12 mm thick steel sleeve at 275mm diameter and a height of 750mm, which is approved for highway use by the Italian Ministry of Transport. The bollard is supplied with a flanged ground cylinder which acts as a protection casing and fixing for the rising post. The Strabuc 930 Opinat is a hydraulically operated post, which is controlled by either a single or four channel controller allowing easy integration with Safety Equipment, Access Control and Traffic Lights. All of the Strabuc bollards feature flashing indicator LEDs that give a visual warning of when the post is in operation.

Launched at last year’s IFSEC, the Bayt 980 barrier will be making a welcome return to IFSEC, offering beam lengths up to 8.5m with a skirt. A combination of durability, efficiency and ease of installation make the Bayt 980 barrier an excellent choice for a wide range of commercial and industrial uses. Durability comes from a revised counterbalance assembly incorporated into the barrier which compresses the coils rather than stretches them, dramatically extending the life of the coils, which also makes the Bayt 980 more efficient and economical.

A selection automation kits for swing and sliding gates will also be on show, including the Combi 740 which is an underground system for gates up to 2.0m per leaf. The Combi kits have double hydraulic locking and the option for 175 degree operation as well as a hydraulic slow down braking version. The self contained underground operators can carry a gate weight of 700Kg and are widely used in instances when the appearance of the gate is not to be compromised.
