Integral Technologies Announces CEU Credit for DigitalSENTRY Training Course

Integral Technologies, Inc., a worldwide provider of scalable IT security solutions, today announced it has taken one more step in helping its dealers, integrators and end-users best utilize the capabilities of its growing product line.

Integral's DigitalSENTRY Certified Technician course now offers Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for various security industry certifications. "Making our courses accredited allows professionals with all different levels of security training to obtain CEUs and apply them toward their certifications," Integral Training Manager Jeff Roach explained. "This is a significant value-add to our customers and partners."

The DigitalSENTRY Certified Technician course consists of a two day DigitalSENTRY Configuration, Maintenance & Troubleshooting module. At the conclusion of each class, a pass/fail exam is given to complete certification.

The following accrediting agencies now accept CEUs for DigitalSENTRY Certified Technician training:

- National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association/National Training School (NBFAA/NTS) offers three certifications: Certified Alarm Technician Level 1 (CAT), Advanced Fire Alarm Technician (AFAT) and Advanced Alarm Technician (AAT). (1.2 CEUs accepted)

- National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) offers more than 30 certifications. (1.2 CEUs accepted)

- American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS International) offers three certifications: Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) and Physical Security Professional (PSP). (1 CEU accepted)

- Building Industry Consulting Services International (BICSI) offers five certifications: Registered Communication Distribution Designer (RCDD) (8CECs), Network Transport System (NTS), Outside Plant Specialist (OSP), Wireless Design (WD) and Installer/Technician. (8 Continuing Education Credits are accepted for RCDD and Installer/Technician certifications.)
