James Matheson joins JVC sales team

Atlanta, GA (September 15, 2008) -- JVC Professional Products Company has appointed James Matheson as sales manager, IP Products for the company’s Eastern Region. In his new position, Mr. Matheson will be responsible for identifying and securing new business relationships with key integrators, provide product training on IP/V.Networks products to existing and new customers, and support local offices on national accounts.

"The appointment of Mr. Matheson is a result of our continued expansion and growth in the security arena. JVC will benefit from his strategic relationship building experience."

Matheson has ten years of sales experience for such companies as Plastoled Systems, Polar Industries, Cintas Corporation and All Access Equipment. Most recently, Matheson was director of sales at Plastoled Systems where he was responsible for the development and implementation of the company’s distribution and reseller network. He was created a comprehensive sales planning, forecasting and results reporting system and worked closely with the engineering team to develop strategic marketing solutions as well as sales collateral.

Prior to working at Plastoled Systems, Matheson was director of sales at Polar Industries. In this position, he increased corporate sales by 200% in the first year and 400% each subsequent year. He also developed and implemented national account strategies for the Polar Industries’ surveillance product line and forged relationships with Milestone, Cisco Systems, Sony Electronics, Cohu Electronics, Verizon Wireless and Speco Technologies.

Matheson received his B.S. from San Diego State University.
