Ringdale, a technology leader in network enhancing connectivity solutions, today introduced its new identification card production software, Sentinel CardCreator, which works with standards based card printers, such as those from Fargo and Zebra, to make professional, custom-made photo IDs in minutes.

CardCreator is scalable to fit any size organization's requirements. The software can be installed on a standalone PC at an organization's reception or security desk or on a corporate server for centralized management. This is useful for larger organizations that may collect the data centrally and print ID cards in one or more other locations.

A cardholder's information is entered and viewed on a single screen and saved to a record in the database. A variety of design templates are included with the software and custom templates can be easily generated. In addition, CardCreator incorporates biometric fingerprint technology from Ringdale, which allows for capturing fingerprints of cardholders and saving them in the same database record.

CardCreator is the latest product in Ringdale's access control platform offering end-to-end security for companies wanting to protect their people, property and assets. The software is compatible with Ringdale's Sentinel UniPort(TM) Visitor Management solution to deliver a coherent setup and add a high level of security and access control.

"CardCreator signifies our continued commitment to deliver integrated access control and time management solutions for our customers," said Klaus Bollmann, chief executive officer, Ringdale. "It adds that extra layer of security organizations are now finding critical."
