MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 7, 2006 — Winsted Corporation announced the appointment of Wayne Cook as general manager of its custom division, Winsted Technical Interiors (WTI).
Wayne Cook has been with Winsted Corporation for 12 years serving as the director of sales and will continue to function in this role in addition to his responsibilities as general manager. His immediate goal is to integrate the two divisions into one that is seamless to dealers and end users.
"What I hope is that Winsted Technical Interiors will provide long-standing Winsted dealers with a custom option they've not had before to enable them to meet a wider scope of customer needs than previously offered," said Cook. "To take the strength of Winsted's customer service and marketing and marry that with the design team and custom manufacturing capabilities of WTI."
Winsted Technical Interiors has been a leader in control room design for the power industry since 1981, specializing in the design, development, fabrication and installation of custom workstation consoles for complex technical environments.
