DICE Corporation, a Bay City, Michigan-based company that creates integrated solutions for the residential and commercial security industry, today announced the successful completion of testing on anintegration with award-winning call recording technology developed by VPI (Voice Print International. Based in Camarillo, California, VPI is a leading innovator and provider of integrated interactions recording and workforce optimization (WFO) solutions for first responders, enterprises, government agencies, and trading floors. The integrated solution allows users to retrieve call recordings directly from the alarm event history in DICE’s Central Station Monitoring Software. The integration will enter into beta testing with a DICE client in early August of this year.

With a solid reputation for providing security firms with reliable, high-performance recording and quality management solutions, VPI’s seamless integration with DICE’s Central Station was achieved via VPI’s open-architecture API, which the company provides as a standard tool for integration with other applications. VPI’s API enables the easy exchange of information between the VPI call recording solution and a client’s existing or future applications. With the integration of VPI’s state-of-the-art digital call audio recording technology, users of DICE’s Central Station can search for and quickly retrieve call recordings directly from their workstation. Searches can be based upon various criteria, including call disposition, agent ID, date, time, or any of a number of custom tags. Users can access call records via the "Event History" window directly from the Central Station interface, or from the intuitive VPI Web-based interface. VPI’s proven full-time digital call audio recording technology – integrated with DICE’s Central Station – substantially reduces liability, ensures compliance, maximizes service quality, and eliminates hours of unproductive call screening for users.

"We are very excited to partner with a technology leader of the caliber of DICE," said Chris Morrissey, vice president of sales and marketing at VPI. "DICE’s customers have chosen the very best central station monitoring software in the industry. By integrating VPI’s call recording and quality management technology into their central station monitoring software, DICE is expanding the value it brings to its customers – providing them with the best possible recording solution available today."
