DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. -- Two men tried to rob a Brinks Security truck outside a shopping mall, and a security guard and a suspected robber were shot, police said.
Douglasville police put the Arbor Place Mall in west Georgia under lockdown as they tried to find a suspect who possibly was driving a getaway car, television stations in Atlanta reported. The mall was later reopened.
Police said the security guard and the suspect were wounded and expected to live.
Mall management and Douglasville police did not return a call for comment from The Associated Press.
