LAS VEGAS, ISC West, Booth # 11063, April 2, 2008 — Lenel Systems International announced today the launch of goVision™, a powerful new standalone digital video recorder (DVR) that brings the benefits of high-quality video to even the most basic security systems. Built on an efficient embedded platform, goVision enables simple storage and retrieval of surveillance video and effortless monitoring and maintenance of multiple DVRs. Lenel is part of UTC Fire & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX).
goVision also provides customers an upgrade path to the full OnGuard installation, to easily accommodate for future system growth. goVision is network capable and all of its features are fully manageable through any remote connection.
With support for up to 16 video channels, live recording at up to 30 frames per second, and as much as two terabytes of onboard video storage, goVision can easily record and store large amounts of high-quality video. Multiple video recording modes are also supported such as; continuous, event-driven, motion-detected, and scheduled. When video archival is needed, goVision can export the video data to a variety of external storage devices, including high-capacity DVD writers, USB-enabled drives and eSATA drives.
The intuitive, built-in user interface makes the full functionality of goVision immediately available upon system installation. Other features include full PTZ control, the ability to configure cameras individually, high-performance video and hardware compression, support for variable bit rates and frame rates, and customizable alarm inputs and outputs.
Lenel will present the goVision solution in the company's booth, #11063, at ISC West in Las Vegas April 2-4.
