Whole-house audio system can now seamlessly integrate with AMX control systems

MIAMI, FLORIDA – July 2, 2007 – Niles Audio Corporation announced today that the company has joined the AMX InConcert program. The end result will simplify integration of Niles' IntelliControl ICS whole-house audio system with AMX control and automation systems through streamlined system programming. Using AMX Device Discovery technology, IntelliControl ICS system components are automatically recognized and configured, creating a true "plug and play" experience for IntelliControl ICS integrators using AMX control systems. Joining the AMX InConcert program is part of a dedicated initiative by Niles to constantly develop and market innovative new products that enable end users to have simple and easy access to home entertainment and that integrate seamlessly with other low voltage subsystems like lighting, internet, security, and HVAC in residential and light commercial environments.

"We are constantly looking for ways to enhance Niles products so they remain easy to program and have the utmost flexibility, which enables custom installers to design and install systems that delight their customers," said Frank K. Sterns, president of Niles Audio Corporation.

"We are confident that the addition of Niles to our InConcert program will add value for our customers," said Michael Peveler, AMX vice president of corporate development. "AMX is pleased to add this innovative company to our group of trusted partners," Peveler added.

The recipient of six industry awards, IntelliControl ICS is a whole-house audio system that accommodates all of today's popular sources – including Sirius and XM satellite radio, HD Radio, iPod, legacy audio sources such as CD players, media servers and AM/FM radio – delivering detailed information to and from its keypads, touchscreens and wireless remote controls.
