Flat pack design allows for reduced shipping costs, easier storage before installation

FAIRFIELD, NEW JERSEY, November 7, 2007 – In response to feedback from its customers in the network and data cabling markets, Middle Atlantic Products today announced that its SFR Series wall racks are now being delivered in an easy-to-assemble flat pack, reducing shipping costs and storage requirements. The SFR Series components are now packaged together in a smaller parcel, providing systems integrators with additional value and convenience.

"Since its introduction, the SFR Series has simplified cable management and provided easier rear equipment access," said Jay Franetovich, Application Engineer, Middle Atlantic Products. "Now, we have condensed the components into a compact flat pack, while keeping the product very easy to assemble."

The SFR Series features an open wall mount design that allows equipment to swing out, greatly simplifying wiring tasks. The SFR's innovative 90-degree "positive stop" design facilitates punching down while fully open. It boasts a useable equipment depth of 18 inches, features a 100-pound weight capacity and comes in a durable black powder coat finish. "The comprehensive and innovative line of space, power, thermal and cable management solutions from Middle Atlantic Products is a result of our dedicated investment in research and development, a significant part of which includes listening to our customers and incorporating their feedback," Franetovich added. "The new packaging options for the SFR Series exemplify this close relationship with our customers."
