FAIRPORT, New York — Bosch Security Systems, Inc., a full-line manufacturer of high-quality security systems and components, has appointed Len Friedman to the role of Vice President of Marketing, Americas.

In his new role, Friedman will work to ensure that the company’s market and channel development initiatives remain closely tied to the needs of Bosch customers as the electronic security market undergoes a significant transformation toward technology integration.

“Along with making high quality products and bringing innovation and new technology to the market, our charter is to better align the organization to become more of a solutions provider versus simply a product manufacturer,” Friedman said. “With these solutions, we can solve many of today’s complex problems in security.”

Friedman brings over 25 years of industry field experience to this position, as well as a strong educational background with his recently acquired Doctorate in Marketing. He was most recently vice president of sales for the Central U.S. Region and Canada and assumed responsibility for the company’s distribution strategy in 2004.

After joining Bosch as Director of Dealer Programs in 2002, Friedman was instrumental in the launch of the Bosch Certified Security Dealer Program, which provides dedicated field and corporate support to certified distributors for Bosch’s broad array of products.
