V.P. of Systems for Bosch Security brings tech support and training under one umbrella

FAIRPORT, New York — Bosch Security Systems, Inc., a full-line manufacturer of high-quality security systems and components, has named Leon Chlimper as the head of its Technical Support and Training group.

Chlimper will assume leadership of Technical Support and Training along with his current responsibilities as Vice President, Systems as the two groups are brought under one leadership umbrella. This consolidated approach will improve communication between technical support and training personnel at corporate locations and at the field level, as well as facilitate increased awareness of Bosch customer experiences at all levels of the newly combined group.

“While it’s critical for a full-line manufacturer to provide solutions to the market, we also need to make sure that the infrastructure is there to support those solutions,” Chlimper said. “Technical Support and Applications now have common leadership so we can deploy our resources more effectively to support the solutions-based approach Bosch has adopted.”

An industry veteran who joined Bosch in 2005, Chlimper has helped to expand Bosch’s systems business in North America. He has held various other international sales and marketing positions, most recently as vice president of sales – Americas for Gallagher Security Management Systems, an electronic access control company in New Zealand.
