The Security Executive Council, formerly known as the CSO Executive Council, has announced that its next installment of their security scorecard is online.
The newest scorecard survey for June 2007 seeks to gather data on workplace violence and use of security officers, and the database helps compare your organization against others organizations. The Security Executive Council will be providing data back to respondents once it has a large enough data pool. As a benefit, respondents are entered into a drawing for a copy of the council's publication "Measures and Metrics in Corporate Security," a tool senior security leaders can use when explaining and justifying expenditures and needs to senior organizational management.
Security end-users can preview the questions before taking the survey, and then take the official survey.
According to Kathleen Kotwica, the Security Executive Council's vice president of research, the organization is still processing results from the first survey and will be releasing that data later this year.
