Company broadens market offerings with new stand-alone access solution

Sag Harbor, NY (June 4, 2007) – The EZ-Access Control System from Dortronics Systems Inc. offers a new stand-alone solution for smaller applications. The Door/Gate Control with Audit Trail, which made its debut at the 2007 ISC West, is ideally suited for two independent doors with one reader each, or one door with two readers for In/Out control.

"This new system allows access control to be provided to a wider range of applications," said John Fitzpatrick, President, Dortronics Systems, Inc. "It's an ideal solution for installations where, perhaps, budgets do not allow a fully integrated access control system to be in place."

The 2-door controller is equipped with two heavy-duty SPDT 10 amp relays, one for each controlled door or gate. For added versatility, an open collector can be used to trigger external relays for CCTV, etc. The EZ-Access door controller has a capacity for 2,000 active card holders. This 26-bit Wiegand compatible system is also ideal for exterior doors or gates.

For full system functionality, secure EZ-Prox cards, key fobs or the Dortronics Wiegand keypad can be used to gain access. EZ-Access users can easily be programmed into or out of the system using a programming card or master code entered by the keypad, without the need for a computer or complicated software. With Dortronics' EZ-Access Control System, text file history reports may be viewed and printed with standard computer programs such as Notepad or Excel, and audit trails are easily downloadable with the EZ-Logger software provided.
