SIA to Present Government Security Forum Tomorrow in D.C.

The Security Industry Association (SIA) has announced the SIA Government Infrastructure Security End User Group (GISEUG) Systems Integration Educational Forum will be held tomorrow, Nov. 1, 2007 at the Greater Washington Board or Trade. This free event is to occur from noon to 3:30 p.m., and is designed to provide end-user attendees an understanding of the technologies being used and impacting systems integration. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m., and the program starts at noon, with lunch included.

The GISEUG Systems Integration Educatoinal forum is open to government employees (federal, state and local), but product vendors and contractors are not allowed. The GISEUG is designed to be a vendor-neutral organization for discussing issues, best practices, policies and technology affecting government and infrastructure security. Marketing for the forum lists the following session topics:
- An Overview of Systems Integration. Learn the basics of Systems Integration as well as current and end state technologies;
- Industry Innovation. Gain a greater understanding of the trends driving product innovation.
- Technologies of Tomorrow. Increase your understanding of the advanced solutions pushing the security industry to "next generation" systems.
