Distribution accelerates LukWerks expansion into IT reseller channel

DRAPER, Utah -- WiLife announced today that D&H Distributing will be the first distributor to carry the LukWerks Video Security System, allowing resellers to easily add physical video security to their network security offerings. The unique, PC-based LukWerks, which provides businesses and homes with Window's based video security at an affordable price, is available to D&H's customer base today. By partnering with D&H, a distributor with 30 years of experience in the security and IT market, WiLife will accelerate LukWerks' availability to small-to-medium size businesses (SMB) and homes that need serious security, but were previously unable to afford other professionally installed systems.

"Digital technologies are becoming daily essentials of the small business environment each year, and video surveillance is fueling this trend due to the benefits it offers this very security-conscious yet budget-conscious market," said Rob Eby, director of purchasing at D&H Distributing. "LukWerks makes full-featured, professional video security accessible to businesses that just couldn't afford the typical enterprise-level system. We're proud to support LukWerks in delivering this value to resellers, which will make sophisticated security more commonplace in the SMB market."

The LukWerks Video Security System is the only professional grade, complete video security solution that uses a PC and HomePlug technology to protect small businesses and homes at a much lower cost than conventional systems. By simply installing software and plugging LukWerks cameras into electrical outlets, a PC becomes a video security command center -- all done in minutes without the need to run any wires.

LukWerks uses existing electrical wiring to instantly transfer streaming color video to the PC for real-time monitoring, motion-based recording and customizable security alerts for up to six cameras. The system provides secure remote viewing from Web browsers anywhere in the world, including cell phones, and also has a powerful video search tool that allows powerful and easy management of recorded video.

"WiLife is excited to enter the IT reseller channel with D&H Distributing and open new opportunities for VARs to transfer their IT skills into the world of video security," said Kerry Brock, VP of sales and channels at WiLife. "LukWerks is PC Windows based, fully digital and easy to set up, so it provides a unique opportunity for IT resellers to easily add video security to their existing product line. We look forward to quickly rolling out a series of reseller programs to make that transition even easier."
