TAC Makes Leadership Change for Americas

Jeff Drees named president of Americas region, brings both engineering and management background

TAC, a top international firm specializing in building automation, security and energy services, announced this morning that it has a new president over its Americas region. Jeff Drees, who joined TAC in 2001 and has served in a number of management roles within the company including their Systems Integration unit, will be president of TAC for the Americas and will be executive vice president of TAC AB.

The Americas region covers North, Central and South America, where he will head their strategic planning and management. Prior to his time with TAC, Drees worked as a manager and an engineer with firms such as Honeywell and Caterpillar. He holds engineering degrees from the U.S. Air Force and from Southern Illinois University, as well as an MBA from Aurora University.

According to recent news from TAC's parent company Schneider Electric, video surveillance systems company Pelco will be operated as part of TAC. TAC not only handles building automation and HVAC systems, but the company is also heavily involved as a top integration provider of security systems for commercial and industrial facilities.
