BALTIMORE, MD – The national electronic security firm, Securityhunter, Inc., (www.securityhunter.com) headquartered in Baltimore, has changed its corporate name, revamped its corporate structure to reflect its growing government sector (GSA) business and will be launching a new security ecommerce site with GSA approved pricing.
The new "Securityhunter" name reflects the company’s focus on targeting security solutions – selecting the most appropriate equipment and services for each client.
The company was just awarded a $1.8 million Homeland Security Management Support Services contract by the USDA Department of Homeland Security. The contract calls for Securityhunter to assess USDA vital facilities and oversee the implementation of systems ranging from physical barriers and blast protection to access control and intrusion detection.
Among Securityhunter’s best known corporate customers are such major companies as DuPont, IKEA, Pepsi-Cola, and Marriott International. The company has a wide range of corporate customers in the retail, service, manufacturing, medical, hotel and university sectors.
