Identity MaX system can read tags up to 12 feet away, ideal for parking access systems
LAS VEGAS, NV -- Sirit Inc., a leading provider of radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, today introduced its next-generation, IDentity MaX, UHF RFID reader for use in parking and vehicle access control deployments at the International Parking Institute's ("IPI") Growth 2006 Expo.

The new integrated reader and antenna design delivers solid Automatic Vehicle Identification ("AVI") performance in single-lane read applications. With Power over Ethernet capabilities allowing a single cable to carry both power and data communications, the IDentity MaX is well suited for the most challenging installation environments. Measuring only ten inches by twelve inches, the IDentity MaX can deliver read ranges of up to twelve feet depending on the choice of Sirit IDentity transponder used.

"The IDentity MaX was designed to address market demands for a system which combines the advanced features from our INfinity series of RFID readers and the performance characteristics from our existing IDentity ZiP and FleX systems," said Norbert Dawalibi, President and CEO, Sirit Inc. "With this new product offering, we believe that we now have a complete suite of best in class parking and vehicle access control solutions to meet one of the largest RFID market applications today."

Initial production units are scheduled to begin shipping in early July 2006 and the Company plans to introduce both European and Korean compliant variations later in the year. The IDentity MaX has been developed to provide the best price in its class while supporting a variety of tag form factors. The system is offered with transferable and non-transferable windshield mount tags, license plate mount tags as well as a new badge design to allow customers the choice of tag form factor best suited for their environment.

"For years, Sirit has delivered products that push the boundaries of price and performance to the parking and vehicle access control industry," stated John Freund, Vice President, AVI Solutions, Sirit Inc. "Leveraging our history with RFID technology and with recent advances in design, Sirit is setting a new paradigm that makes traditional access control technology for vehicle applications obsolete."

Sirit will showcase the new IDentity MaX as well as its complete suite of Parking and Vehicle Access Control products at IPI's Growth 2006 Conference/Exhibition, Mandalay Bay Convention Centre (Booth No. 914), Las Vegas, Nevada May 15 - 17, 2006.
