Web system allows for live retail alarm monitoring, gives LP staff simple-to-use, real-time access
Bay City, MI, May 05, 2006 - To accommodate the alarm monitoring needs of retail companies, DICE Corporation has released Aegis Corporate, a refined, web-based alarm and account management software created for the retail industry.

Developed in cooperation with DICE Users Group Retailer's Team, the new platform provides a secure way for dealers to track live alarm signals and addresses the retail industry's need for an efficient web interface. Users can access essential alarm data, account management, data entry, and report generation specifically tailored to the needs of a retailer. The
well-defined interface can also be re-branded to fit the look of any central station's logo/website.

Checkpoint Security Systems, of Chanhassen, MN, has implemented the easy to use on-line access system and markets the software to their clients in loss prevention. The clear and concise navigation provides their dealers with easy and accessible up-to-the-minute alarm data through a secure web browser.

"Our customers are too busy to become expert users of systems that require extensive training," said Ed Morrissey, Director of Monitoring, Checkpoint Security Systems. "The key to success is to give Loss Prevention the information they need in real time, with a minimum of keystrokes needed for access, and organized in a manner that fits their own internal structure.
The new Aegis Corporate system from DICE does all that, as well as introduce new summary screens for immediate identification of events requiring investigations."

Securitas Security Systems USA, Inc., of Boston, MA, also provides the slimmed down functionality of Aegis Corporate to their retail clients.

"Our company can now offer exception based reporting to retail customers in a drill- down format," said Paul Bixby, National Program Manager, Securitas Security Systems USA. "The Aegis Corporate version of the software allows the user to sit above the local, district and regional managers and view each region, district, or store to identify trends in false alarm and employee activity. This allows the retailer to impact false alarm fines and shrink numbers."

"We plan on continuing developments and researching ways to evolve our software. The input we've received from the DICE Users Group has been invaluable and has guided our company to develop important enhancements for our clients," said Cliff Dice, Chief Executive Officer at DICE Corporation.

"DICE shows that it has listened to its customers in developing this leap forward in Internet reporting, and the good news is that the Aegis Corporate platform has tremendous potential for additional functionality in the future," commented Morrissey.

Aegis Corporate is free to DICE customers that have *eLink and upgrade to the current Aegis software release.
