Milestone attributed to growing demand for SMB biometric authentication products
BELLEVUE, WA - (May 15, 2006) Saflink Corporation (NASDAQ:SFLK), a leading provider of solutions that verify identity, secure access and increase productivity, today announced that the company has signed more than 100 resellers to its Channel Partner Program since the program's inception in June 2005. S&A Consulting Group LLP, a leading Northeast Ohio management consulting firm, and ISG Technology, Inc., a regional provider of computer technology services, are the latest organizations to become authorized resellers of the award-winning biometric security software, Saflink SAFsolution and EntryPoint.

"Due to the volume of incoming requests for biometric security products from existing and potential customers, we wanted to partner with a reputable authentication technology vendor that specializes in the small- and medium-sized business (SMB) market," said Al Kappel, Senior IT Consultant, S&A Consulting Group. "Saflink's proven technology, longevity in the market and responsiveness to our customers' needs outshined the offerings of competing vendors. In particular, we believe that the company's reseller support infrastructure and hands-on participation during sales cycles is a valuable means for gaining competitive advantage."

SAFsolution and EntryPoint are strong authentication products designed to lower the cost of password management and increase user convenience. Through a variety of strong authentication methods, including biometrics and smart cards, SAFsolution integrates with Microsoft Windows Active Directory to boost network and workstation authentication security. EntryPoint enables SMB organizations to replace the standard password-based Windows log-on process with biometrically enabled plug-and-play USB flash drives to increase security and productivity.

"For more than 20 years, ISG has helped its customers improve business processes and streamline operations through the use of technology," said David DeShazo, Security Sales Consultant, ISG Technology. "To preserve our legacy, it is vital that ISG continue to align itself with cutting-edge technology partners that understand the unique needs of our key vertical markets, including healthcare and government. Saflink's extensive experience in these fields and its understanding of our business needs made this partnership a very easy choice."

"For the past year, Saflink has focused a significant amount of resources on recruiting and retaining quality reseller organizations," said Suzanne Young, Director of Channel Programs for Saflink. "With more than 100 resellers signed, our network of authorized partners continues to grow to meet the tremendous need for multi-factor authentication products. To ensure our partners have an advantage over the competition, Saflink representatives are available to immediately assist partners at every point in the sales cycle -- increasing customer satisfaction."

Saflink offers authorized resellers three levels of support and benefits contingent on rolling revenue commitments and partner expertise. To further enhance sales success, members of the tiered partner program receive structured marketing support, training, technical support and full access to the Saflink partner portal.
