SANTA ROSA, Calif., May 11, 2006 -- Schurter's new RoHS compatible non-resettable fuse series, TF 600, offers a rated breaking capacity of 60 A at 600 VAC, over a current range of 0.5 - 2 A. The fuse is designed to assist manufacturers of telecommunications equipment in meeting power cross and lightning surge requirements as outlined in both North American
standards: Telcordia GR-1089 and, TIA-968-A (formerly FCC Part 68), as well as UL 60950. It also meets the International standards ITU-T K.20 and IEC 60950.
Its low profile and small footprint conform to industry norms for size, placement and process compatibility.
