Chairman LaPenta credits meeting of guidances with strong administrative controls

BILLERICA, Mass. - Advanced technology identity solutions provider Viisage has reaffirmed revenue and earnings per share guidance for first quarter 2006. The company expects to report results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2006 concurrently with the filing of the Form 10-Q on or about Monday, May 15, 2006. Viisage will host a conference call on the same day to discuss the results.

"Our ability to forecast and meet expectations is especially important as the industry moves to a critical inflection point where strong operational controls and tight fiscal management principles will separate industry leaders from industry followers," said Robert V. LaPenta, chairman of the board of Viisage. "We believe that this level of management discipline has served us well in delivering continued shareholder value while in the midst of executing a successful growth strategy and navigating through a market in the midst of change."
