April 30, 2007
Dealer-focused product line can allow up to 64 wireless locksets to communicate with access control hub

Westlake Village, CA - March 2007 – Novation Wireless Security Systems, LLC., introduced it's nClass family of wireless access control products at ISC-West 2007 in Las Vegas. The nClass product-line is a Dealer focused product targeted towards small to medium sized applications which substantially reduces installation cost to less than 30 minutes per door. Novation's Innovative Patent Pending Technology offers all the features expected in a hard wired system in a wireless system that requires no drilling, no AC power, and no wiring at the door.

The system includes a wireless HUB (nHub) which communicates to up to 64 locksets (nLock) via 900 MHz encrypted spread spectrum technology with typical in-building distances of more than 300 foot radius and line-of-sight of up to 1500 feet. The nHub acts as a central communication hub and computer interface as well. Each door controller contains its own complete database for immediate local decision making and can store up to 5K cardholders and 20K transactions. The battery operated locksets accept standard proximity cards and are available with a keypad option. Battery life is approximately 15 months, or you can provide AC power at the door. The nClass system also includes a wireless door Controller (nPort-R1) for either new or retrofit applications that would require local AC power near the door.

CEO and President of Novation, Joe Maskrey stated "The reception we received at this years show was tremendous. Dealers and Integrators we spoke with were extremely impressed with the reduction in installation cost achieved with using Novation."
