Lenel Announces Commercial Release of OnGuard 2006

ASIS 2006, San Diego, Booth # 4225, Sept. 25, 2006 — Lenel Systems International announced today the commercial release and availability of OnGuard 2006, the latest generation of the industry-catalyzing OnGuard security platform. Lenel, a global leader in the development of integrated security systems for government and commercial markets, is part of UTC Fire & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX).

OnGuard 2006 is the most comprehensive and flexible single-source security solution available today. Among the significant new capabilities seamlessly integrated into the platform are web-based applications, calibration-free intelligent video solutions, a highly secure elevator and floor access solution, automated analysis of recorded audio, support for video walls, and the ability to use biometric data for both physical and logical access.
