Panasonic Invites ASIS 2006 Attendees to "see IT all!”

Extensive New Product Introductions Enhance Leading IP and Analog Video Surveillance Solutions

San Diego, CA (September 25, 2006) – Panasonic Security Systems, a division of Panasonic System Solutions Company (PSSA), continues to expand the breadth of their video surveillance solutions with several new product introductions at ASIS 2006. In the IP arena, Panasonic is showcasing a new network color dome system that incorporates the company’s Super Dynamic III (SDIII) technology – widely recognized as the benchmark in video surveillance camera performance. Additionally, Panasonic continues to extend the coverage capabilities of analog camera series and systems with new features including enhanced Digital Signal Processing (DSP) with Adaptive Black Stretch technology to deliver crisper, cleaner imaging; anti-impact Auto Back Focus (ABF); and high resolution 480ips recording capability.

"Panasonic has continually set the industry’s benchmark for performance with new technologies that deliver exceptional imaging capabilities and features, along with proven quality and reliability,” said Frank DeFina, President, PSSA. “As Panasonic continues to develop new technologies and system products, we are also actively embracing the expertise of partner companies to deliver the most comprehensive video surveillance solutions attainable.”

The theme for Panasonic at ASIS will be "see IT all!”, referencing the company’s 50 years in leading video imaging technology and its established "we get IT!" theme – Information Technology and Intelligent Technology. Standing behind this statement will be a suite of new IP and analog systems products, complemented with new software solutions for professional video surveillance applications. Panasonic also continues to build on its “open infrastructure” initiative with the launch of the Panasonic Solution Developer Network (PSDN) – created to establish a network of leading technology companies to foster and encourage the development of interoperable solutions through easy access to development tools and information.

“Given the number of new products and solutions we are introducing at ASIS 2006, this is one of Panasonic Security Systems’ most significant new product launches in recent years,” continued Mr. DeFina. “These new products will also provide our sales partners and newly formed PSDN members with the video surveillance devices they need to develop more advanced system solutions.”

New IP networking product introductions include:
i-Pro WV-NS202 Color Network PTZ Dome Camera brings Super Dynamic III (SDIII) technology to a networked platform.
