BRADENTON, FLA. – September 21, 2006 – GE Security Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the General Electric Company today announced that it will introduce a variety of new products at the 2006 ASIS (formerly the American Society of Industrial Security) International 52nd annual Seminar and Exhibits, September 25-27 at the San Diego Convention Center. Several of the new product lines such as Facility Commander Wnx, MobileView IV, MobileTrace, NavLogix and VisioWave, will be showcased alongside with GE Security’s existing line of security and surveillance products at booth 4712.

“We’re launching and developing new and integrated solutions based on our industry-leading breadth of technologies,” said Louis Parker, President & CEO of GE Security. “Today’s user wants to consolidate and integrate various disconnected security and facility management systems. At ASIS, we are showing ways that these security management solutions can communicate together. ”

One of the new products, the MobileView IV, integrates mobile video surveillance with a GPS tracking system that builds on the features and popularity of the MobileView line of transit recording systems. MobileView IV incorporates wireless LAN and a Garage Archive Maintenance Server (GAMS). One MobileView IV system can record from up to 12 cameras, which can be mounted inside or outside a vehicle. Recorded images can be viewed from a laptop in the field, through a docking station, or at a central station through the use of a wireless network. MobileView IV will be demonstrated in the GE Security booth each day of the show at 10:00 am. Facility Commander Wnx is GE’s new integrated security management solution for MicroSoft Windows. It lets users integrate security management and life safety applications under one platform, tying together access control software, ID badge credentialing, biometrics key management, cardreaders, keypads, control panels and visitor management systems. Facility Commander Wnx will be demonstrated in the GE Security booth at the show each day at 11 a.m.

Another integrated system is GE’s VisioWave Intelligent Video Platform, which provides a comprehensive range of solutions, including intelligent video content analysis and video surveillance for installations that require integrated transmission, management, analysis and storage of extremely high-quality digital video, including digital video equipment and high-end distributed video switching for cameras and monitors. The VisioWave system can automatically detect unattended objects, abnormal behavior in crowds or specific areas, as well as other places or activities of interest. VisioWave will be demonstrated in the GE Security booth each day of the show at 2 p.m.

The new GE NavLogix mobile resource management (MRM) solution combines the flexibility of the Internet with GPS and cellular technologies to provide complete resource management for service fleets, such as utility, cable television, and heating/air conditioning. Other business fleets, ranging from armoured vehicles to heavy equipment can also improve business processes by using GE’s NavLogix solution. NavLogix will be demonstrated in the GE Security booth each day of the show at 3 p.m.
