ImageWare to demonstrate IWS Biometric Engine and support for FIPS-201 PIV

SAN DIEGO -- ImageWare Systems, Inc., a leading developer and provider of identity management solutions, is exhibiting at the 6th Annual Smart Cards in Government Conference, where the company will showcase its award-winning IWS Biometric Engine along with its Federal Information Processing 201 (FIPS-201) Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Solution and related identity management products in Booth #22. The 6th Annual Smart Cards in Government Conference, an industry event focused on the business and technical requirements of government smart cards, is hosted by the Smart Card Alliance and held at the Ronald Reagan Building & International Trade Center in Washington DC on April 10-13.

In addition, ImageWare's executive vice president, Bill Willis, will be speaking on a panel entitled Card Issuance topics for HSPD-12 on April 12 at 9:00 a.m. Mr. Willis will focus on cardholder credentialing middleware as it relates to FIPS 201.

The ImageWare PIV solution, which incorporates the company's award-winning IWS Biometric Engine and secure credentialing product suite, offers a complete solution to support PIV-I and PIV-II business processes, technical requirements, as well as the ability to partner with leading physical and logical access control vendors for logistics and deployment considerations.
