MDI lands federal contract

Company to provide security solutions for agency’s new office building

MDI announced Wednesday that their security systems and professional services group subsidiaries have combined forces to land a contract with the federal government to provide security solutions for the first phase of three-tiered security project in Washington, D.C.

According to a press release issued by the company, the undisclosed agency’s project will consolidate 1,500 people from 5 different locations into one building.

MDI Security Systems will install HSPD-12 compliant hardware and software applications in the new office building, while MDI Professional Services Group will provide a systems solution for the agency.

Work on the first phase of the project will take place over the next 30 to 60 days, according to MDI.
