Sept. 21, 2006
Security management software features enhanced wizards, shortcuts, and templates

LOUISVILLE, Ky., September 20, 2006 – Honeywell (NYSE: HON) today announced the launch of Pro-Watch Release 3.7 software that offers a complete security management solution including access control, alarm monitoring, video badging, and CCTV system interface. New and enhanced wizards, shortcuts, and templates make the software easy to install and use.

Three editions of Pro-Watch provide a convenient growth path for security needs of all sizes, as well as enhanced features, more functionality, and a simple-to-use platform. The Professional Edition is ideal for small to mid-size applications. The Corporate Edition works in applications with at least two users and 96 doors, but can be expanded to include an unlimited number of doors and scaled to encompass multiple sites and facilities. The Enterprise Edition expands the system capability to global proportions by managing an enterprise-wide security system from a single point while maintaining local operational autonomy.

“Our goal was to incorporate input from users world-wide that would help us create a more intuitive and easier to use version of Pro-Watch,” said Carlos Lopez-Reyna, product manager, Honeywell. “Enhanced features, more functionality, and a simple-to-use platform all combine to make a good system even better.”

Pro-Watch Release 3.7 enables integrators to install and configure Pro-Watch systems easily and in a shorter amount of time. It offers a comprehensive integration to the LobbyWorks system, as well as to the new Digital Video Manager (DVM) R200 release, comprising advanced video processing features for scenarios such as abandoned object, object tracking and classification, enhanced motion detection, and breach containment of TSA checkpoints within airport terminals.

In addition, this version of Pro-Watch enables biotech and pharmaceutical firms to comply with new FDA regulations to maintain electronic records and obtain dual signatures from individuals whose identity is being verified. "The new Pro-Watch incorporates suggestions that came from RFI and other field engineers, and we are very pleased with the results,” said Brad Wilson, president, RFI Communications & Security Systems. “The enhancements made increase the efficiency of the field staff by reducing training time and callbacks, which results in increased productivity and happy customers.”

Honeywell will demonstrate Pro-Watch Release 3.7 at the ASIS International 2006 show. For more information, contact your local sales representative or visit www.honeywellintegrated.com.
